AI Search Visibility
Your customers are asking AI about businesses like yours.
When they ask ChatGPT or Google's AI Overviews who to hire, we make sure the answer includes you.
The question a customer would type
Who should I hire for small business website design in Toronto?
Based on the search results, here are some solid options for small business website design in Toronto: Competitor 1, Competitor 2, Competitor 3, Competitor 4, and Competitor 5. Each came with a sentence on its specialism and who it suits.
0 of 3
Times the business that asked was named, across three runs of the same question. Five competitors were named in every run. This is the ordinary result, not the worst case.
What We Do About It
Make the site legible to machines without making it worse for people.
This is not a separate discipline bolted onto SEO. It is the same fundamentals, done properly, with the way AI tools read a site taken seriously.
Structured Data & Entity Clarity
Valid schema saying who you are, what you sell, and where you operate. Not required for a citation, but it removes the guesswork.
Content Shaped Like Questions
Real customer questions as real headings, answered directly underneath. That is the shape that gets quoted.
Material Worth Citing
Assistants quote sources that are specific and current. Thin pages built for search engines are not quoted, whatever their keyword density.
Content A Machine Can Read
No special crawler files to court. What matters is that your pages are real HTML, not text trapped in scripts or baked into images.
How We Know
We did this to our own site first.
Three claims, and the thing that backs each one up. None of it requires taking our word for it.
The markup is on this page.
View source on the page you are reading and search for FAQPage. The six questions further down are marked up so a machine can lift the answers out whole. Every service page on this site does the same.

Not a landing page dressed up for this argument. Every URL is canonical, in the sitemap, and rendered as real HTML rather than assembled by a script after the fact.

How It Gets Measured
The work has a shape, and the shape is a number.
Nobody can promise you a ranking in AI search — there isn't one to promise. What can be checked is whether a machine can read your site, whether it answers the questions people ask, and whether an assistant names you when asked. That is what the grader reports.

The figures above are illustrative. Your own report runs three runs against a real assistant when capacity allows, and it prints back the exact question that was asked so you can run it yourself and check us.

AI Search Visibility FAQs
Common questions about being found in AI search.
It is the practice of structuring a website so AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google's AI Overviews, and Perplexity can accurately understand a business and reference it when answering relevant questions. You will also see it called AEO, for answer engine optimization, or GEO, for generative engine optimization. In practice it overlaps heavily with good SEO rather than replacing it.
No, and you should be sceptical of anyone who says they can. No agency controls what an AI tool says, and these systems change constantly. What we can do is make sure your website is structured, clear, and substantial enough to be understood and cited — which is the part that is actually within anyone's control.
Less than the marketing around it suggests. Most of what helps a business appear in AI answers is the same work that has always mattered: clear structure, accurate information, genuine expertise, and technically sound pages. The differences are matters of emphasis — structured data and question-shaped content carry more weight than they used to, and keyword density carries less.
Honestly, measurement here is less mature than traditional search reporting, and we will not pretend otherwise. What can be checked is whether AI tools describe your business accurately when asked, whether they cite your site, and whether your existing analytics show referral traffic from AI platforms. We will show you what we can measure and be clear about what nobody can measure yet.
Often not. A lot of this work is structural and can be applied to a site that is already reasonably built. If your current website makes it genuinely difficult — content locked inside images, no real page structure, unmaintainable templates — we will tell you, and explain what a rebuild would involve so you can weigh it up.
The technical work is usually a matter of weeks. How quickly AI tools reflect the changes is outside anyone's control and varies by platform, because each one refreshes what it knows on its own schedule. Treat this as foundational work that compounds, not as a switch that produces results next week.
